Uploading a Map to an Ark Server
At whatever of the iii obelisks, inbetween your inventory and the obelisk's inventory, there should be a push button to upload your grapheme.
On servers you can practise this at beacons too, simply on singleplayer, this merely works at obelisks and the tek transmitter.
Beginning a new game with a new map. Select spawn randomly instead of new graphic symbol. The game will randomly spawn the last graphic symbol yous played with.

It makes Aberration a massive hurting in the donkey to get out of without a tek transmitter, since getting to the obelisks is difficult in and of itself (plus the whole "literally on fire during the day and swarming with reapers at night" thing), even without the added hassle of leading animals in that location.
Await so you tin can't accept unique characters in different Arks anymore? I e'er started a new character and simply leveled it upwardly till I could reach a obelisk and transfer unique items from that Ark to my other Arks. That was part of the fun of soloing.

Thanks Hippo. I was worried there for a bit. I like the challenge of starting new. The leveling is pretty quick compared to what it was like in Alpha.
Ah so I can either transfer my existing character or get-go a new grapheme on each map. I think I like the idea of starting new characters on each map. Thanks for the info! :)
On top of the right inventory is "ARK Data" and "CREATURES"

Ah thanks! I went back into the game and was trying to figure out where I could put inventory since it said transferring me would drib all items. Volition requite it a try! :)

So I went to an obelisk to see what options I take to transfer my current character. I've attached a screen shot of my options. I don't see how to go anything other than me without inventroy to some other map.I thought we could transport animals and inventory? I may withal just outset over but I wanted ot figure this out in case I decided to transport any new characters. Thanks!!

On the right at that place are three tabs
- Ark Data.
- Creatures.
- Tribute.
Ark Data: Here you tin elevate items into(or out) the tab, up to 50 items can exist uploaded (Ark Item Slots counter in the middle)
Creatures: Here you can upload\download your creatures, twenty in total (once again counter in the middle), at that place volition be a piffling manus icon for downloading/uploading.
Tribute: Here yous dump all your stuff to summon bosses, and some other stuff afterward on if you defeat a boss.

Press "esc" when you have the spawn map for the map your are on (after uploading your character), go out to the main menu, load the new map you lot want to play and the pick to download you character should be in that location.
You should really remember about playing your local games past starting a local dedicated server to play. In that location are far less issues like non beingness able to use beacons every bit upload points and there is less chance of your save file becoming corrupt. Single player is filled with far many more than bugs than a server game and y'all would probably enjoy it more.
